It’s hard to believe that 2022 marks the fifth vintage of our zesty Alma Albariño - and she's BACKKKKKK by popular demand as a staple on our tasting list! We love Alma so much, that she's now available by the glass, bottle, and on TAP in our tasting room!

A Spanish grape by origin – Albariño is a light-bodied, higher-acidity white wine known for its dry and refreshingly tart flavors.  Our 2022 Alma greets your nose with sweet floral notes of orange blossom, gardenia and sweet basil.  Her "legs for days" will dance in your mouth with a balanced citrus explosion of first ripe orange - then lemon - ending with a tart lime finish. Another one of our "juicy" wines - Alma's mouthwatering acidity arouses the roof of your mouth and mid-palate, and finishes with a titch of minerality - so typical of Albariño.

High-acid wine pairs beautifully with higher-acid foods.  This year, we recommend serving Alma as your starter with ceviche drowned in fresh orange, lemon, & lime juice. Maybe even coconut shrimp, or Chevre cheese puffs? Or Alma can easily transition alongside a main course of panko-crusted Halibut in herbs and lemon sauce.
